Buik Motorworks - Richmond Rd Keswick

Technical Workshops on the Porsche 911 with Adrian Streather

Saturday 3rd May, 2014 at 1:00pm

The club is fortunate in having Adrian Streather, the well know author of many Porsche 911 books, as a new member. He has just returned to settle in South Australia after 20 years living in Switzerland. Those of you with a copy of one of his many books on their shelves, will be familiar with his expertise. He has run Porsche technical workshops in Europe and the US, and is now offering to run them here in Adelaide first and then if there’s any interest expanding out into rural South Australia.

The first one will take place on Saturday afternoon, 3rd May at 1:00pm at Buik Motorworks, Richmond Road Keswick SA 5035

Possible areas to be covered in these workshops are:

1. DIY Maintenance.

2. Cost effective servicing

3. Wheels and Tyres

4. Cost of Ownership.

5. Q and A Sessions

Are You Interested?

We are inviting our members to make an expression of interest in these workshops, tell us which topics appeal and what 911 series they would like to see given the “Tech Session” treatment. Once we have an idea of the number of people wanting to attend, and the most popular topics, we can organise the logistics with Mark Buik.

This May workshop will last 2 to 3 hours, including a refreshment break. We will be using a 964 as an example, and will finish with an open Q and A session. Wives and partners are more than welcome.
