Enjoy a pleasant drive through the Fleurieu area via Kangarilla, Myponga & Finniss to the picturesque "Pholi Farm" property of John & Jane Sheahan at Ashbourne.
This is the home of the Pholi Chardonnay, well known to many club members, and you will be able to enjoy a glass or two while walking through or picnicking among the vines that this delicious drop originates from.
The run will take 1.5 to 2 hours including rest stops, starting at 10.00 for a 10.30am from Willshire Motor Trimmer's at 466 South Rd Marleston. Their car park is just around the corner in the side street.
Run sheets will be provided, & so we can print enough could you please advise Geoff Paul (0418 394 397) or geoff.pcsa@internode.on.net if you are coming.
Due to an extension of Fire Bans in the area, we suggest a picnic lunch instead of the planned BBQ. The property adjoins Cox Scrub wildlife area & at times various native animals can be seen passing through. 4WD tours will be available for those interested to have a look around the farm.
A real family day to put in the diary.
