Sunday, 1 February 2009 - Thursday, 5 February 2009
Porsche Cars Australia is delighted to announce Camp 4 is on again from February 1 to February 5, 2009. We have secured a VERY limited number of spots and with an early sell out of this year’s program; we anticipate a similar response for 2009.
To ensure you have an opportunity to participate, we would like to extend to you an invitation to be part of this unique driving experience. Few places on earth can match the driving conditions offered in the Arctic Circle where temperatures hover at around –20 c.
In this ice-covered world of Finland, the land of a thousand lakes, lying frozen in the Arctic Circle, you can test drive the new 911 Carrera 4S, Cayenne S and Cayman S in sub-zero conditions, at the Arctic Driving Centre, Ky. This Centre is normally only open for use by international car and tyre manufacturers for extreme test-driving.
At the Centre, experienced Porsche instructors and factory engineers will show you how to master all types of Arctic conditions. You will learn how to evaluate extreme driving situations, respond accordingly and be in total control (well almost!) at all times. The course includes circuit and slalom driving, hill climbs, braking, drifting and acceleration techniques - all topped with plenty of fun.
A variety of other activities round off this unique experience – a snowmobile safaris through the vast Finnish wilderness, as well as other cultural surprises. There is no need to worry about having the correct equipment as all necessary gear and clothing will be supplied.
The cost for this event is A$6,500, which includes accommodation, all meals, all activities and transfers but excludes airfares.
If you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact me on 03 9473 0911.
We hope you can join us on what is guaranteed to be a unique Porsche experience.
